Sausage Stuffed Sweet Peppers
Ingredients
1 LB CLOVERDALE PORK SAUSAGE - 1613836
1-8 OZ PACKAGE OF CREAM CHEESE (SOFTENED) - 0922401
2 CUPS OF SHREDDED CHEDDAR - 1530500
2 TBL HOT SAUCE - 0505016
1 TSP SHREDDED MOZZARELLA CHEESE - 1530807
32 MIXED MINI SWEET PEPPERS - VP
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES.
- COOK SAUSAGE IN A LARGE SKILLET UNTIL THOROUGHLY COOKED. DRAIN & PLACE IN A BOWL.
- ADD CREAM CHEESE, CHEDDAR & HOT SAUCE. MIX WELL.
- CUT PEPPERS LENGTHWISE IN HALF. DISCARD SEEDS & MEMBRANE.
- PLACE PEPPER HALVES ON A SHEET PAN & COOK IN OVEN FOR TEN MINUTES TO SOFTEN.
- REMOVE & ALLOW TO COOL.
- FILL EACH PEPPER WITH SAUSAGE MIX TO HEAPING.
- ADD SPRINKLE OF MOZZARELLA CHEESE ON EACH PIECE. RETURN TO OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES.
- REMOVE FROM OVEN & SERVE
